"RIP" Single by Showing Teeth Review
Last November, Showing Teeth debuted her first single, “Labyrinth,” and now, just recently, her second single, “RIP,” is out now. She has gained quick traction in this short amount of time in the metal scene as she showcases a wide range of vocals and sounds. These two tracks are clearly the beginning of a phenomenal new artist in the making, and I’m definitely looking forward to seeing what else she has in her.

In this latest single, “RIP,” there are smooth transitions between the growls and melodic vocals that interchange between the two so seamlessly. I definitely recommend her to fans of Jinjer because their lead vocalist, Tati Shmayluk, has the ability to do this with her voice. I am always in awe when a metalcore band has a powerful female singer because for a woman, it is a little harder to achieve the depth in the growls, but it’s clearly not something that Showing Teeth is struggling with by any means. “RIP” is loud, heavy, and unique, and I am absolutely here for her.
There is something different about her overall sound that brings this different perspective in the metalcore scene that also makes me think about BLEACH and Lacuna Coil. I think I’m just hoping for a killer tour of all female heavy bands going on the road together because who runs the world? GIRLS!

On social media, she has already gained thousands of followers, and you’ll actually be able to catch her live on a few shows very soon!
Indianapolis and Milwaukee hardcore fans, Showing Teeth is opening up for Beartooth on March 3rd! Do not sleep on tickets and get yours while you can. I’m for sure going to be in the crowd, and I can’t wait to see what she sounds like in person. Amazing, I’d assume? You can also catch her set at Upheaval Fest in Grand Rapids, Michigan, later this year. What an amazing start. Pretty soon, she’ll be everywhere. I’m calling it now.
Showing Teeth is more than a name, it’s a statement — a conduit for collective aggression.
