"Nuff Said" Single by Homebase Review
Cover Photo by: Jo3y DonutzNewcomers, heavy pop-punk rockers Homebase, released a new single titled “Nuff Said” just about a week ago. This five-piece group formed in 2023 in the middle ground of New York and New Jersey, from quick chemistry together led to the creation of Homebase. They were discovered in the underground scene of New Brunswick, NJ, through their reputation for creating high-energy, raw, and unfiltered connections with their audience at shows. Their first release on Spotify is named “Bold” and came out in November 2025. Their latest release follows a similar vibe, exhibiting their DIY aesthetic using heartfelt lyricism and BOLD movements.
“Bold” is a shorter track but still carries on the major efforts that introduce them into the scene loudly and without remorse. “Nuff Said” is a standard length but really punches into the notes and their punk sound. It’s well tied together and blends the words with music so beautifully. Vocalist Antonio Valentino had mentioned that this track came organically from just an overwhelming flood of different ideas. Drummer Chris Ochoa notes how this song is exactly how he pictures the core of what the band as a whole want to accomplish — about how it’s confronting different feelings and about how it’s not who defines but whether what you choose to do. I think finding a placement of what you stand for, what your music stands for is so vital in creating a melodic and well-blended group; otherwise, it comes off discombobulated. Or you know it means you experiment until you find what works best which isn’t wrong, but sometimes when you know, you just know.
Click The Image Above To Stream The Song On Spotify I really enjoyed listening to “Nuff Said,” and it’s a catchy one. I do think they pull inspiration from bands like State Champs, Sum 41, and Set It Off as I can hear some similarities in overall sound and the delivery of their vocals in every word. I think anyone who likes the bands I just listed will also probably enjoy this group.
“Bold” is Homebase making a splash of an introduction, and “Nuff Said” states their business because sometimes ENOUGH IS SAID, this is me. There are some massive feels and a loud hype in this band’s line, and I’m excited to see what else they bring us. 2026 just started, but we’re off to a pretty fiery start of new music already. Here’s to another year of crazy new finds for me!
