Held during CMA Fest week in Nashville, the annual event has become a staple for both artists and fans looking to support colorectal cancer research and awareness while enjoying a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. This year's challenge was the largest in the event's history, both in funds raised and celebrity participation. For Craig Campbell, the event represents something deeply personal. The Kenny Campbell Foundation was established in memory of his father, Kenny Campbell, who lost his battle with colorectal cancer at just 36 years old. What started as a way to honor his father's legacy has grown into one of the most anticipated charity events of CMA Fest week.

"This was just incredible," Campbell shared following the event. Judging by the turnout and enthusiasm from artists and fans alike, it's easy to understand why.”

The popularity of the event was evident from the moment teams began arriving. With a record number of celebrity participants signing up, organizers were forced to adjust the format to a round-robin tournament featuring timed games. The change kept the action moving and allowed fans to see more of their favorite artists throughout the afternoon.

The celebrity lineup featured an impressive mix of country music stars, rising artists, and special guests. Craig Campbell was joined by wife Mindy Campbell, and daughters Preslee and Kinni, making the event a true family affair. Fans also had the opportunity to see members of Parmalee, Matt and Scott Thomas, along with Thompson Square, The Swon Brothers, Jake Hoot, Adam Sanders, Lewis Brice, Whey Jennings, Allie Colleen, Bigg Vinny, Noah Peters, Austin & Colin, The Tolers, Trent Ellis, Miles Burris, Tori Rose, Gracee Shriver, and several others take their shot at cornhole glory.

One of the more unexpected appearances came from rapper Waka Flocka, whose participation drew plenty of attention and highlighted the broad appeal of Campbell's annual fundraiser. Throughout the day, artists mingled with fans, signed autographs, posed for photos, and embraced the friendly competition that has become synonymous with the event.

While the Campbell family entered the tournament hoping to defend home-field bragging rights, the competition proved fierce. In the end, rising country duo The Huffer Brothers emerged victorious, surviving the crowded field and claiming the championship trophy after all members of the Campbell family were eliminated during regular play.

Of course, the tournament itself was only part of the day's entertainment. Following the cornhole competition, Campbell treated attendees to a free concert that served as the perfect conclusion to an already memorable afternoon. Fans packed in to enjoy live music from Campbell and several special guests, creating an atmosphere that felt more like a family reunion than a fundraiser.

One of the highlights of the concert came when Preslee Campbell took the stage. Watching the next generation of the Campbell family perform added another heartfelt layer to an event already rooted in family, remembrance, and community. What makes the Celebrity Cornhole Challenge special isn't necessarily the competition or even the music. It's the genuine sense of purpose that surrounds the entire day. Every bag tossed, every auction item bid on, and every ticket purchased contributes directly to the fight against colorectal cancer.

The event's continued growth speaks volumes about the respect Craig Campbell has earned within the music community. Artists from across genres and career levels continue to donate their time year after year, while sponsors and fans consistently show up to support the cause. This year's event was made possible through the support of numerous sponsors, including 6th & Peabody, Wrangler, The Stage/Legends Corner, Team Cocktail, Nashville Tactical Lounge, Rios of Mercedes, Greeley Hatworks, Crosslin Building Supply, 30A Life Records, Grindstone Cowboy, TETRA Hear The Hunt, and many others who helped make the record-breaking fundraiser possible.

As Nashville continues to celebrate the music and memories created during CMA Fest week, the Craig Campbell Celebrity Cornhole Challenge serves as a reminder that country music's greatest strength has always been its community. Artists, fans, sponsors, and volunteers came together not only to have fun but to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Raising more than $35,000 in a single afternoon is an impressive accomplishment. More importantly, it means additional resources for research, awareness, and efforts aimed at preventing one of the nation's leading causes of cancer-related deaths.

Twelve years after its inception, the Craig Campbell Celebrity Cornhole Challenge continues to grow, inspire, and impact lives. Judging by the record turnout and overwhelming support seen in 2026, the event's future has never looked brighter. For Craig Campbell, his family, and everyone involved, this year's challenge wasn't just another successful fundraiser; it was a celebration of hope, community, and the power of people coming together for a cause that truly matters.
