Alright, country music aficionados, let's talk about the event that turns Nashville into a honky-tonk heaven every June: CMA Fest. It's like Christmas, your birthday, and the Fourth of July all rolled into one for country fans. Originally called the Fan Fair back in the 70s, this four-day shindig is the place where fans get to see their favorite artists up close and personal.

And it’s not just about the music, it’s also about giving back, with proceeds helping to fund music education in public schools through the CMA Foundation. So, not only do you get to enjoy killer performances and snag autographs, but you’re also supporting a good cause. How’s that for a win-win?

Well, day one at CMA Fest hit the ground running! The Chevy Riverfront Stage was packed to the gills as fans flocked early to snag prime spots. Moriah kicked things off with a bang, putting her own spin on the national anthem alongside a three-piece mariachi band. Who knew the anthem could sound so fresh?

Up next was Megan Moroney, who had the crowd eating out of her hand with a killer performance that practically screamed, "Women rule 2025!" The energy was off the charts, and you could tell the crowd was ready for a wild ride. If this is how we start, just imagine what the rest of the festival has in store!

Fan Fair X at the Music City Center was like Disneyland for country fans. Picture a massive space filled with exhibits, merch, and most importantly, your favorite country stars just hanging out, waiting to chat. We wandered around and bumped into Bryan White and Kolby Cooper, who were super chill and more than happy to sign autographs and snap pics. Seriously, it’s a fan’s dream come true.

Imagine getting to gush about how much their music means to you while they nod appreciatively and thank you. It’s like speed dating but with less awkwardness and more fan-girling. And let's not forget the awesome exhibits that made us feel like we were stepping into a country music time machine. Whether you were there for the selfies, the signatures, or just to soak in the vibes, Fan Fair X delivered the goods.

Alright, let's talk about the future stars who are already shining bright. The CMA Close Up Stage turned into a hotbed of talent with the Women of Opry NextStage, hosted by the ever-charming Kelly Sutton. We got up close and personal with Kaitlin Butts, Priscilla Block, and Tigirlily Gold. These ladies didn't just talk the talk, they walked the walk, sharing their career stories and belting out tunes that had the crowd hooked.

It felt like we were getting a sneak peek at the next wave of country music royalty. Each artist brought their own flavor, proving that the future of country is in some seriously talented hands. If you’re not already obsessed with these names, you will be soon.

But the standout moment? Kylie Morgan’s performance at the Dr. Pepper Amp Stage. Her raw emotion and genuine connection with the audience gave everyone the feels. If you weren’t tearing up, were you even there? And let’s not forget 90’s country legend Mark Wills at the Chevy Vibes Stage. His nostalgic hits like "Don't Laugh At Me" transported everyone back to simpler times, reminding us why 90s country still reigns supreme.

From new faces to timeless classics, the stages were electric, and we were here for every second of it. Reid Haughton took to the Hard Rock Stage to close out the daytime shows, and let me tell you, he did not disappoint. This guy's got charisma for days and knows how to work a crowd. Reid’s set was packed with energy, showcasing his raw talent and knack for connecting with fans. You could feel the electricity in the air as he performed, making it clear he's one to watch in the country music scene.
