Hannah Damn Dasher Almost Needed The Fire Marshall In Chicago!

The night was electric as Chicago’s very own Carol’s Pub came to life with the sound of the best country music to hit the scene in recent times. The Tall Boy Tour featuring Hannah Dasher made a stop at the legendary bar and concert hall, and it was everything fans had been waiting for and more. The stage was set, the crowd was buzzing, and everyone knew that they were in for a treat. The crowd was packed in so tight that if they put one more fan inside Carol’s we would’ve had the fire marshall out.

First up on stage was Emma White, an artist with an effortless grace that can be likened to a blend of classic country, indie pop, and rock ‘n’ roll. Her vocals soared above the harmonious sounds of her guitar as she played a few crowd favorites, showcasing a few originals like “Married Man” & “Mothers & Daughters”. Her musical style is something that cannot be easily put into words as it is an exhilarating fusion of the old and new. Emma’s delivery was packed with intensity and heart as she strummed and sang through her other tracks such as “Cowboy” and “Thirties.”

Emma returns to Chicago on October 20th; she is an up-and-comer that you want to check out. Emma’s opening set lasted for 30 minutes, and the crowd had become fully warmed up, their energies now primed and ready for Hannah Dasher, the star of the night. And with the mere mention of her name, the anticipation could be felt rippling through the air.

Suddenly, the venue fell dark, and the sold-out room became silent. But then, there was a roar as Hannah Dasher strode confidently onto the stage. Her first song was an upbeat track titled “Your Gonna Love Me” that set the crowd into a frenzy. Her energetic stage presence was almost too infectious, with the entire audience singing and dancing along.

Hannah’s attire was as vivacious and colorful as her voice and performance, which had the ability to pull the audience in, almost like she had a personal connection with every single person in the room. And before she got into her third track of the night a cover of ZZ top’s “Tush”, Hannah shared a little insight into the meaning behind her songs. The explanations only helped the audience understand her story even more, and each track played seemed to be a window into her soul. Perhaps the highlight of the night was when Dasher performed "Stoned Age," a hit song from her album that has become an anthem for many of her fans. The crowd was singing along with every word, and Dasher's powerful vocals left no doubt that she is destined for greatness. Hannah even got a present for later during the song when someone in the crowd handed her a funny-looking left-handed cigarette.

Hannah continued to put her audience into a trance with hits like “1990’s Heartbreak,” and “The Tree.” With each song, her confidence, her infectious laugh, and her relatable personality filled the room. One song that truly stood out was her new single “That Thing You Like,” which proved that Hannah has just as much control and power in her delivery on the newer songs as she does on her high-energy tracks. Hannah even tossed in a few new songs, that have yet to be released, showcasing what’s to come in the near future from the firecracker herself. It wasn't just Dasher's performance that captivated the audience. Her interactions with the crowd throughout the night made it clear that she genuinely appreciated the support of her fans. She shared stories about her upbringing in rural Georgia, her experiences touring with other country music legends, and the struggles and triumphs of being a musician on the rise.

As the night ended, Dasher thanked her fans and the incredible staff at Carol's Pub for a night that would go down in country music history. She reminded everyone in the room that it's the passion and love of her fans that makes every show unforgettable and that she can't wait to return to Chicago for more unforgettable performances in the future. Hannah’s performance at Carol’s Pub was not just a concert; it was an experience that connected the artist and her fans in a very personal way.
