Country Hits and Summer Nights: Brad Paisley’s Truck Still Works Tour
Brad Paisley brought his Truck Still Works Tour to Simpsonville, South Carolina, and it turned into one of those summer nights that just felt right. The CCNB Amphitheatre was buzzing before the first chord even rang out, and by the end of the night, everyone walked away reminded of why Paisley is such a staple in country music.

She has this ability to make you feel like you’re listening to a close friend tell her story through song. Her vocals were warm and heartfelt, and even though she was the opener, she owned the stage with ease. It was the perfect way to ease into the night, and you could see new fans falling in love with her music in real time.
Next up was Walker Hayes, who flipped the energy into high gear. He’s got a way of blending humor, storytelling, and pop-country hooks that gets everyone moving. The crowd was singing, dancing, and laughing along with him, and his stage presence felt larger than life. Walker further rallied the crowd by introducing his oldest daughter, Lela, the choreographer behind his first hit Fancy Like. The dynamic father/daughter duo performed the dance as he sang and got the entire crowd on their feet.
When Brad Paisley finally stepped out, the entire place lit up. He wasted no time diving into a mix of fan favorites and newer tracks, showing exactly why he’s been at the top of his game for so long. Songs like Mud on the Tires, Ticks and Cooler Online had people singing at the top of their lungs, while the newer material reminded us that Paisley’s still pushing his sound forward without losing that signature style. Brad rounded off his party hits by slowing it down and playing something he wrote for his wife, (I Thought I Loved You) Then, with the cameras panning around the amphitheater to various couples singing along in a tight embrace.
The combination of performances from Alexandra, Walker, and Brad made the night feel like the best kind of journey through modern country music. It wasn’t just a concert, it was a celebration of stories, melodies, and summer nights spent under the stars in South Carolina.
